Although Iver is a safe place, we are keen to minimise the risks caused by anti-social behaviour and it’s important that residents remain vigilant and report anything that arouses suspicion or concern.
This is a reminder that our Open Spaces and Recreation Grounds are there to be enjoyed by everyone safely. We ask that all incidents of anti-social behaviour are reported to 101 or by using the Thames Valley Police online form. If you feel threatened, or if a crime is in progress, please call 999.
The Parish Council takes all acts of criminal damage seriously and liaise with the local Safety Neighbourhood Police team to ensure everyone is kept safe when using our open spaces.
A few simple steps can increase your personal safety:
- Stick to familiar and well-lit routes when out walking or cycling
- Wear bright clothing after dark
- Keep valuables out of sight whether on your person, your car, or home
